Having 30 years of experience in the Duty Free and Retail Industry. Over the course of his career, Mr. Arilli has traveled & overseen operations in over 80 different countries on land, sea and air. Marco Arilli is the founder of Bulldog Duty Free, a duty free retailer with global distribution. Over the course of his career, Marco has traveled across continents to secure the widest and highest quality products to generate sales and maximize customer satisfaction. Marco entered the Duty Free arena after accepting a position with LVMH as Divisional Merchandise Manager for Starboard Cruise Services. At Starboard, Marco was charged with the placement of liquor, tobacco, cosmetics, fragrances, sundries, food, candy, and electronics for cruise ships across the globe. Marco began his career at JC Penney after obtaining degrees in Marketing, Economics and Information Systems from Western Michigan University. As a regional buyer for the department store company, Marco oversaw purchasing for 18 different stores and was responsible for purchasing a wide array of products including watches, jewelry, apparel, and home goods. During this time, Marco also managed merchandising for Starboard with an eye on enhancing the shopping experience at stores on cruise ships including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, Holland America, Cunard, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Crystal Cruises, Seabourn, Windstar, Regent, Costa Cruise Lines and Silver Seas. Additionally, while at LVMH Marco was responsible for purchasing for all 22 LVMH owned DFS Duty Free Stores at Miami International Airport. In 2011, Marco joined the DFASS Group as an Executive Director of Asia and the VP of Luxury Goods Globally. While at DFASS, Marco procured goods across all categories and established Duty Free & Travel Retail Stores for DFASS at Airports on several different continents. He has setup stores at airports in Denver, Atlanta, Dallas Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, Toronto, Bahrain, Panama Tocumen, Raleigh Durham, Brunei, Charlotte, Orlando, Newark, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Fort Lauderdale, El Salvador, Bogota, and Mexico City. In his position as the of VP Luxury Goods, Marco placed brands & products for In Flight Shopping on the following airlines; American, Delta, United, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Virgin, Air Asia, Air Canada, Malaysian Airlines, Korean Air, China Airlines, ANA, Asiana, Avianca, South African Air, LATAM Air, Copa, Air Mauritius, Gulf Air, Hawaiian Air, Tiger Air and Royal Brunei Airlines. Mr. Arilli founded Bulldog Duty Free in 2016 with the mission of taking the Duty Free & Travel Retail shopping experience to a higher level, a commitment that will be achieved by using the latest technologies to enhance the consumer experience and to identify customer habits and emerging trends.
